  Replying to your comments:
"What's this title from Deb Cullins Smith....'Sir James'?
Are you really British Aristocracy? I am honoured to be aquainted with you!"

LoL... ah, if that were only true (and the likelihood of the inheritances that come with it) but, sadly, no.  Deb and I go waaaaaaay back to prehistory (graduated high school together in 1974), so she knows how much I love sci-fi, horror, and especially fantasy, so she'll occasionally prod me with a "Sir James" even though my pedigree is as mixed as any other "mutt"...  Well, "Sir James" would sound pretty good to you considering you've mentioned James is sort of a "favorite name".
Thanks for visiting my Freewebs review site.... It does get a little lonely and neglected...
Hug!

Carrie, Joni-Pip seems to be doing really well, you must be very proud of yourself. I've read all the press cuttings and reviews and am impressed! I have finished the book and I've since loaned it to 2 friends to read ((recommendations indeed)), both of whom were engrossed in the complexities of the plot. I've also discussed the story with one of the pupils who you signed a copy for and she loved it. How's work progressing with Number 2?

  Dear Carrie and Sheena,
We have been deluged with emails from Carrie's fan-club, the Circleites, so we'd love to feature Joni-Pip on Go4it.
In an ideal world we'd walk the woodland trail around The Clappers in Sharpenhoe, Bedfordshire, with you and with some of the children who emailed in. It would be useful to do this when they don't have to be at school, but I will need to find a date that my presenter and I can both make. I'll get back to you on that as soon as I can.
First things first though, please could you send me two copies of the book(s?) One for me and one for my presenter to read?
If you could address them to me, Vibeke Venema, that would be great.
Thank you for your help and look forward to meeting you!

Speak soon! All the best,

Vibeke Venema

Hi Carrie...I set up an interview with you to speak to Toby and you kindly gave us some books...I thought you might like to hear what a hit Joni-Pip has become with my grandson Louis..he is only 6 but is a gifted reader and he can't be parted from your book..He can read it but doesn't understand all the words so is constantly asking what things mean (which is good but also tiring for everyone else!!)..Joni-Pip goes to school with him and has sparked an interest in the older class. Keep writing Carrie, we need more! Best wishes Sandra
